Yes we do! Well, sort of. It's mostly a big party/gathering at the mountain. But every year at Jay Peak we have the East Coast Snowskate Convention. 2025 is 3/22-23, likely Stateside Lodge. Meet up ~10AM, group ride after lunch, raffle ~4:20 PM. Here's some footage from last year!
Heck yeah! Slushly snow is surfy, forgiving, & warm weather is as comfortable as it gets. Some ppl snowskate barefoot (if they have all-foam though!) and throw on flip-flops just to get on the lift without frost bite.
